This event is free of charge!

Following the success of the Brain Injury Technologies Think (BITT) tank, held in March 2015, the NIHR Brain Injury Healthcare Technology Co-operative (HTC) will be delivering the BITT tank series throughout 2016 to showcase technologies in our 4 priority areas:

  • Primary PreventionBrain-BITT
  • Acute monitoring and treatment
  • Co-ordinated Care
  • Technologies for Independent Living

We are kicking off with ‘Technologies for Independent Living’ on 27th January 2016 at Madingley Hall in Cambridge.

The aim of the day is to provide an opportunity for independent feedback from clinicians, partners and academics for tech innovators and to identify the next steps in development and how the Brain Injury HTC can best facilitate these desired outcomes. This event is also an opportunity to explore potential collaborations between industry, academics and clinicians within the field of Technologies for Independent Living following brain injury. Upcoming grant opportunities addressing these unmet needs will be signposted during the day.

We have now filled all the time slots! However, SMEs are still encouraged to register to get on the reserve list, but also to attend the event and bring promotional material. If you are interested in contributing to this showcase and networking event, please contact Talissa Gasser, tg382@cam.ac.uk.
